The Drip Store's larger diameter palm punches are constructed of heavy duty plastic and fit comfortably in your hand when punching precise holes in any size drip tubing from 3/4" and up. Use 8 mm tool when installing large starter barb LF318 for both 1/2" .700 OD polytubing and 17 mm dripline laterals. This punch removes the residual debris formed as it punches a hole in the drip tubing. We recommend cleaning the punch to make sure that the material does not accumulate inside the metal pin. Use 4 mm tool for Spot-Spitter system (direct connection of 1/8" poly micro tubing without barb) and for Katif drippers with large 4-5 mm barb.

Punches and drip tubing cutters are common tools used in the layout and installation of a micro irrigation system. The punches come in various sizes and are used to punch holes in the drip tubing for the insertion of drip emitters or 1/4" barbed fittings. The drip tubing cutters are used to cut the drip tubing where needed.
