The 4" supporting stake for micro tubing is used to secure the position of a button drip emitter near the plant area or inside a pot or basket using 1/4" micro tubing, or to hold 1/8” micro-tubing from the drip emitter near the plant. Constructed of UV-resistant high impact plastic.

Works good for my purposes. Previous reviews said that they crimp the line a little, but I had no such experience (I'm using a poly-type tubing that has a relatively small outer diameter part T041).

I could see how it could be too short for some soil, but I've got a lot of clay in mine, so it works just fine.

It is kinda OK for 1/4 tubing. I say so because it pinches the tube quite a bit. I am not sure if that affects the flow. I have used hold down stakes in kits from horbor freight tools and they dont pinch the tubing so much. But in comparison, this is built better.

Instead of attaching it to the tubing I attach it to the dispensing end of the drippers [it fits perfectly]. That way the dripper is held horizontally. BTW, a better item to holding drippers is S003.

Seems to be a bit too short to hold in loamy soil.
