The Drip Store’s high impact 1/2" (16mm) barbed fittings are available in various configurations and are used in the installation of 1/2" drip tubing or drip line with .520 ID to .540 ID. By using a double barb action, the tubing is forced over the fittings for a very tight fit. No tools, glue, or clamps are required. Our barbed fittings from DIG Corp are made of high impact UV resistant plastic.
The 1/2" (16mm) barb fittings are used in the installation of any brand name drip line or drip tubing. To connect the 1/2” (16 mm) drip tubing or drip line, use a hand pruner to cut the drip tubing or drip line, being careful to keep dirt from entering the drip tubing. Insert the barb side of the fitting into the end of the 1/2” drip tubing or drip line by forcing the drip tubing over the barb side.
