Use this connector to start a drip lateral from a drip tubing. To insert it into a 1/2", 3/4" or 1" drip tubing, punch a hole into the drip tubing using the black punch with 8 mm pin and insert the small barb into the tubing. insert the other side side of the barb into a 1/2" or 17 mm drip tubing or drip line

17 mm Barb Fittings

The 1/2" (17 mm) barb fittings are used in the installation of any brand name drip line or drip tubing. To connect the 1/2" (17 mm) drip tubing or drip line, use a hand pruner to cut the drip tubing or drip line, being careful to keep dirt from entering the drip tubing. Insert the barb side of the fitting into the end of the 1/2" drip tubing or drip line by forcing the drip tubing over the barb side.
