The 18 GPH, 360-degree micro sprinkler assembly with black nozzle is an insect proof micro sprinkler with coverage of up to 23’ @ 30 PSI. When the spinner is closed at the end of the irrigation cycle insects are prevented from entering the spinner. This micro sprinkler is suited for irrigation under tree canopies, for seedlings, flowerbeds, ground-cover, young saplings, mature trees, and in greenhouses and nurseries. The fully assembled insect proof micro sprinkler comes with a spike, 24” micro tubing and barb.

The Drip Store’s line of insect proof micro sprinklers presents an advanced concept in micro irrigation systems. The micro sprinklers’ unique drive mechanism achieves strong spinner propulsion at lowers pressure. A small backup filter ensures extra protection, and also serves as a secondary nozzle, keeping the droplet size even and providing excellent distribution uniformity. The micro sprinklers use interchangeable components with a number of nozzles suitable for applications in the irrigation of seedlings, young saplings and mature trees.

Coverage might be a hair under 21 feet but this sprinkler really works.
I have four of these connected to a system that has 50 drip emitters on it and was suprised that they worked so well.

Installation for 360 Insect Proof Micro Sprinklers

To install the 360-degree micro sprinkler use the complete assembly with spike, micro tubing and barb. To replace the head of the micro sprinkler, pull the head with the nozzle out of the assembly and replace with a new head with the same color nozzle. Make sure to flush the line before inserting the new head with the nozzle. No tool or glue is required.
