The conversation adapter has a 3/4" - 20 inlet thread that allows the user to mount the C009 solenoid assembly on Rain Bird valves series DV, DVF, PGA, PE, PEB and GB. This adapter provides an option to mount the solenoid on other valves if needed.
The 18-VDC three-wire replacement solenoid is used with any of our valve models C011, C012, C027, C028 or any valve with 3/4" - 20 solenoid thread, and can be connected only to our models C035 and C038 six-station 18-VDC battery operated controllers. Connect the color-coded wires on the solenoid to the same colors on the controller station numbers using waterproof connectors.
