3/8 in. in. Tee in. Compression Fitting
In Stock

The 3/8" beige color tee with .450 compression connection is used to branch and to join three ends of 3/8" with .450 OD flexible misting line (beige color) together when the line needs to be split, by wiggling and forcing the misting line into the compression side of the fitting. The compression fitting ensures a water tight connection up to 80 PSI.

During the summer months when the weather is hot and dry using a misting system around the patio area or at the pool side can lower the temperature to a comfortable level making an outdoor stay more pleasant. The Drip Store’s misting systems are one way to lower the outside temperature by a few degrees through the hot summer days.
The Drip Store’s systems use fine misting nozzles that can operate in a pressure range of 40 to 80 PSI with flow rates of .8 to 3 GPH. The misting nozzles can create a micro climate cooling effect above the ground, mostly through effect on humidity. For the best result install the misting nozzles 4' to 6' above the ground with 2' to 4' spacing for maximum cooling effect.

About Evaporation:
Evaporation is the process by which water is converted from liquid to its vapor form and thus transferred from land and water masses to the atmosphere. Evaporation from the oceans accounts for 80% of the water delivered as precipitation with the balance occurring from land, inland waters and plant surfaces.

What type of weather patterns affect evaporation?
•Wind speed: the higher the wind speed, the more evaporation
•Temperature: the higher the temperature, the more evaporation
•Humidity: the lower the humidity, the more evaporation
Water is transferred from the surface to the atmosphere through evaporation, the process by which water changes from a liquid to a gas.

Where to use our misting systems:
In addition to their widespread use dry climates, there are many uses for evaporative mist cooling systems using foggers in areas where there is moderate humidity, such as poolside areas, patios, workshops, garages, greenhouses, loading docks, warehouses, construction sites, and confinement farming including poultry ranches and hog and dairy farms.

Note: In highly humid climates, evaporative mist cooling systems may give little comfort and are not recommended for use.
