The 5" hold down stake is used to hold the 1/2" drip tubing or drip line to the ground. Use the stake every 5-10’ in the installation layout of the 1/2" drip tubing and drip line. Constructed of UV-resistant high impact plastic.

I agree with previous reviews, these are too short for my application. I have raised beds, and at least 6" to 8" is loose soil. For these to work I need 8" to 10". I'm going to look around to see what I can find.

I agree with the previous post, it is just too short to hold 1/2" tubing in place.

An essential item for keeping polytubes in the proper position for watering, but it is often too short in loose soil. Different sizes such as 9 and 12 inches or 8, 10 & 12 inches would be a big asset.

Works, but is too short to stay in the ground. It gets pulled out as tubing expands/contracts.
