The 8" hold down metal stake is used to hold 1/2" drip tubing or drip line to the ground. Use the stake every 5-10’ in the installation layout of the 1/2" drip tubing and drip line on hard soil.

I have used these stakes in several installations over the past 3 years. They are sturdy and economical. I favor them over the other 2 or 3 others I tried from the Drip Store. At least for my soil, which has some subsurface rocks and thus could bend less sturdy stakes, these performed well. PS-- I am just a customer of Drip Store-no hustler for anyone or any product.
