The 5" heavy duty hold down stake is used to hold 1/4" micro drip tubing, 1/4" micro drip line, 1/4" laser drilled soaker hose or 1/4" porous tubing to the ground. Use the stake every 5-6’ in the installation layout of the 1/4" micro tubing and 1/4" micro line on hard soil. Constructed of UV-resistant high impact plastic.

This is actually not what I had thought I bought. I had wanted to purchase the 4" stakes, the ones that are so hard to get the tubing in, and then the tubing tends to pop out a lot. Well, when these came I wasn't too happy, but I am so glad that I made the mistake. I like these a lot better than the others and they don't cost much more. They work a lot better in my opinion. From now on this is the stake I will purchase for my 1/4" tubing.
