Drip irrigation employs linear low-density drip irrigation tubing as the main water delivery to the drip emitters and micro sprinklers. There are many nominal sizes of drip irrigation tubing used with drip irrigation. The Drip Store has drip tubing with .520 ID x .620 OD (16 mm), 1/2" with .700 OD, 3/4" with .940 OD and 1" with 1.200 OD, (For special orders, call or email us for a quote). The 1/2" and the 3/4" serves as the main line or a branch line, into which the, drippers, micro sprinklers or 1/4" connectors with micro tubing are linked. The Drip Store, drip tubing from DIG Corp, is made of Dow FINGERPRINT™ DFDA-7510 NT linear low-density polyethylene resin with up to 5% Carbon black for extra resistance to the damaging effects of ultraviolet rays. The Drip Store drip tubing has been designed to meet every demand of low volume irrigation from agricultural installations or landscape installations to backyard gardens, and it can be installed above or below the ground. The 1/4" micro tubing, sometimes referred to as distribution tubing, serves as an individual feeder line to deliver water to each drip emitters or micro sprinklers. The micro tubing is available in two basic material, vinyl and low-density polyethylene, the vinyl is softer then the poly and both are made from high quality vinyl or polyethylene compounds, with up to 5% Carbon Black design to meet the demand of low volume irrigation system installations.
