Start a drip system layout by connecting the drip zone kit to a PVC pipe thread and then to your drip system for above the ground installation or inside an irrigation box. The 3/4" Drip Zone Assembly is a complete, pre-assembled unit which include 24 VAC solenoid, high flow/high capacity filter, and a 30 PSI preset pressure regulator, designed for drip irrigation or low volume irrigation installations with a flow rate of up to 13 GPM.
The 24 VAC powered drip zone included all the parts needed to start a drip system. The kits includes a 24 VAC, 3/4" FNPT heavy duty in-line valve, 3/4" "Y" filter with 155 mesh, and 3/4" 30 PSI preset premium pressure regulator. Start a drip system from a 3/4" PVC pipe using one of the assemblies and connect the 24 VAC valve to any 24 VAC controllers via 18 AWG gauge electric wire for a drip system layout in any landscape area for residential or commercial application.

Starting the irrigation system from a PVC pipe:
1. Glue to a 3/4" PVC pipe a PVC adapter (model P367) (not included).
2. Thread the 3/4" 24-VAC 3/4" valve to the nipple using Teflon tape.
3. Connect the 3/4" MNPT filter directly to the valve outlet. Repeat the process using a Teflon tape at the other ends and make sure to remove all the excess of the Teflon tape
4. Connect the 3/4" 25 PSI FNPT x MNPT pressure regulator to the filter.
5. Connect the 3/4" FNPT swivel adapter to the 3/4" adjustable pressure regulator.
6. Connect the wire from the valve to the controller using 18-gage wire with waterproof connection
7. Use a 3/4" MNPT adapter model LF085 and thread the adapter to the pressure regulator (not included with this assembly)
8. Connect the poly drip tubing to the adapter by wiggling and forcing the drip tubing into the compression side of the adapter.
9. Lay out the drip tubing to the garden area. The 1/2" drip tubing is used as the main line for drip systems into which drip emitters, micro sprinklers or 1/4" micro tubing are inserted
· Make sure that the water flow direction matches for each component, if any is in line with the water flow.
· Use Teflon Tape only with the filter and make sure to remove all Teflon tape excess...
· Pressurize the system and make sure that water is not leaking from the unit or any part along the line. Test the assembly manually and then automatically via the controller, and then program the controller.
