The MI051 (DIG # BC140) OCEAN BREEZE® cooling kit from DIG Corporation contains 50’ of 1/4” beige flexible pipe and 7 .8 GPH foggers. In addition, the kit includes all the components needed to install a cooling system around the patio or pool area. This misting kit can accommodate expansion to a 150SF, using additional foggers and flexible pipe. For the best cooling effect, install the foggers every 3’ and 8-12’ above the ground.

The low-flow foggers are used for cooling of greenhouses, plants, animals and people. With a low flow rate of .8 GPH and with micro sized droplets, the cooling and humidifying effect can be maximized with a drop of up to 20-degrees. The fogger operating pressure ranges from 40 PSI to 60 PSI. Positioning the fogger heads 8' to 12' above the ground, with 3' to 4' spacing, will achieve a significant reduction of temperature - inside or outside a structure.

The OCEAN BREEZE® model MI051 misting system is a complete kit that has all the parts needed to install a cooling system from a hose faucet (spigot).

Installation for MI051 & PB550

Starting from a faucet:

Connect the 3/4" FHT adapter (model A001) to the faucet, to the adapter connect the flexible pipe (model MI006) by wiggling it and forcing the flexible pipe into the compression side of the adapter, then lay out around the patio or pool area.
Turn the wateron and flush the line and close the end of the 1/4” flexible pipe using line end (model MI008).
Raise the 1/4” flexible pipe and attachedit to the patio frame using the 1/4” C" Clamp (model MI026).
Cut the 1/4” flexible pipe every 3-4’ and connect a 1/4" barbed tee (model MI007), to the tee add 2-4” of 1/4" flexible pipe and insert the fogger (model MI001) into the end of the 1/4" flexible pipe.
Use the 1/4" barb (model MI009) to extend the 1/4" flexible pipe or for repair.
Turn on the water and make sure that the system is working correctly.

Best cooling method: By turning the water on when the temperature is very hot and dry the Ocean Breeze Evaporative Cooling system can dramatically reduce the air temperature and at the same time increase the moisture content in the surrounding air. The hotter and drier the air, the more noticeable the cooling effect. For best result s add a battery operated controller.
