The Drip Stores’ laser drilled soaker hose is 1/4” extruded micro tubing with precision laser drilled holes in preset spacing of 6” or 12". The Drip Store’s 1/4" laser drilled soaker hose from Rain Aid is available in black color and in 50’, 100’ or 500’ lengths and with a flow rate of .5 GPH at 15 PSI. If you install the 1/4" laser drilled soaker hose in your patios, containers, narrow plantings, large pots or boxes, the 1/4" laser drilled soaker hoses can be used for up to 30’ of length.
For residential applications use the laser drilled soaker hoses with our 1/4" barbed fittings. The laser drilled soaker hoses can be installed above the ground only and can be covered with mulch to blend it with the landscape. Our 1/4" laser drilled soaker hoses can be used for installation in planters, boxes and patios.

Installation for Laser Driller Soaker Hose
Drip hose installation:
The laser driller soaker hose can be installed below or above the ground and covered with mulch to blend it with the landscape. To connect the laser drilled soaker hoses to drip tubing, use our 1/4" barbed fittings.
Designed for use on small areas, such as containers, narrow plantings, green roofs, or oddly shaped layouts, the small diameter laser drilled soaker hoses present installation flexibility for many applications.
If automation is used and you will be running both drip and sprinkler zones, the controller should be selected with care. The ideal controller should have an independent program for each valve, or two to four programs for flexibility to use with each zone. Standard electric control valves (model C023), or 3/4" (model C041) to 2” (model C044) battery operated controllers can be used in the installation, however, care should be taken to review the flow characteristics of the zone that the valve or controller will be accommodating.
The laser drilled soaker hoses should be first laid out and secured into the ground using 1/4" plastic stakes before connecting the laser drilled soaker hoses to the main lateral.
Flushing: Prior to testing leave the end of the main line and the 1/4" drip laterals open,
and then flush the system of all debris. Close the end line and all laterals.
Pressure tests the system with a minimum of 25 PSI to identify leaks in the lateral, fittings and the drip zone.
