I bought 10 of these emitters last year and did not use any. I tried a few of the junior woodpeckers instead. They worked fine last summer, so this summer I did my entire 25' run of tomatoes (4 plants), string beans, and marigolds with them. No water came out. Other parts of the system with the old Fiskers non-pressure compendating emitters worked, so the next morning I replaced the woodpecker junior emitters with these. The system worked fine. So I am ordering bunch and will gradually move my entire system to these. They work great. And unlike the Fiskers, no leaks where they plug in to the poly tubing. And for others upgrading an old Fiskers system, be careful. The Fiskers 1/2" polytubing is .058, not .062...
