Drip Irrigation Kit for a Gravity Feed System for Up to 50 Plants

The Drip Store’s Drip Irrigation Kit for a Gravity Feed System model K014 is a complete custom designed kit for gravity feed irrigation of a vegetable garden, shrubs, trees, and flowerbeds. The kit has all the parts needed to start a system from a rain barrel (not included) and to cover up to 50 plants with up to five rows. It can be expanded to cover up to 100 plants using additional drip tubing and drip emitters with the same flow rate. The kit includes a ¾ inch filter, ¾ inch ball valve, 200' of ½ inch drip tubing with .600 ID x .700 OD, 50 button drip emitters, and all the parts needed to complete the installation.

Drip irrigation is the slow application of water directly to the plant root zone in a predetermined pattern. Maintaining an optimum moisture level in the soil at all times results in less water lost to the sun and the wind. No water is wasted on non-growth areas, and the root zone is maintained at its ideal moisture level, combining the proper balance of water and air for a very efficient irrigation system.
