Drip Irrigation Kit for a Gravity Feed System with Up to 250 Square Feet

The Drip Store’s Drip Irrigation Kit for a Gravity Feed System model K015 is a complete custom designed kit for gravity feed irrigation of a vegetable garden and flowerbed. The kit has all the parts needed to start a system from a rain barrel (not included) and to cover up to 250 square feet or 10 rows, each 10 feet long. It can be expanded to cover up to 350 square feet using additional drip tubing and drip line with the same flow rate. The kit includes a ¾ inch filter, ¾ inch ball valve, 50' of ½ inch drip tubing with .600 ID x .700 OD, 100’ of 1/4 inch micro drip line with drippers every 12 inches, and all the parts needed to complete the installation.

Drip irrigation is the slow application of water directly to the plant root zone in a predetermined pattern. Maintaining an optimum moisture level in the soil at all times results in less water lost to the sun and the wind. No water is wasted on non-growth areas, and the root zone is maintained at its ideal moisture level, combining the proper balance of water and air for a very efficient irrigation system.
