Materials: Domestically produced rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound, Type 1 Grade 1, with a Cell Classification of 12454 as defined in ASTM D1784
Pressure rating : Up to 200 PSI
Temperature range: Up to 140
Constant pressure capable Sch 40 PVC
Generally resistant to most acids, bases, salts, aliphatic solutions, oxidants, and halogens
Excellent physical properties and flammability characteristics.
Smooth interior surfaces of PVC Schedule 40 fittings assure low friction loss.
PVC pipes have different ratings. Schedule 40 PVC pipes and fittings will have different applications than Schedule 80 PVC pipes. Schedule 80 pipes and fittings are thicker and stronger, and should be used to jobs that require higher system pressure and higher water temperature. The Drip Store uses schedule 40 PVC fittings up to 1” that are suitable for use in irrigation for landscape and agriculture. All sizes of the PVC Schedule 40 pipes and fittings are manufactured in strict accordance to the requirements of ASTM D1785 for physical dimensions and tolerances.
