3/4 Gallon Fertilizer Applicator with Hose Thread for up to 5000 sq.ft.
It works but it is tricky. In my setup I have a number of circuits with different flow rates depending on how many drippers are on it. I had to select a disk filter to match up depending on the circuit. If you have too wide a flow-thru opening no fertilizer will be drawn out. Too narrow and you get too much pressure drop in the injector and some drippers may not drip! For the fertilizer they sell here I calculated 1tsp would supply 30 sq ft or approx 30 drippers so on that basis i put in 1-2TBSP in the 1 gal tank per cicuit. I had to add food coloring to really see what was going on. bottom line it worked. It emptied out to clear in about 20 minuites depending on flow rate. Since once you got drippers you pretty much need to fertilize thru them this solves my fertilizing issue for the drop setup. In my case I put in coupling so I can move the injector from circuit to cicuit. Kind of painfull. With more experience and use one may end up putting one in permanently in each circuit - depends on head loss too. - jansmudski 05/06/14see reviews
