Drip Irrigation pressure regulators
Pressure Regulators maintain constant outlet water pressure, which prevents high pressure from going through your drip line and damaging your micro irrigation system.
In order to use a Pressure Regulator, pressure must be higher in the entrance to the regulator. For example, if an irrigation system has a pressure of 50 PSI and 25-PSI pressure regulator is install, the pressure will be regulated to a constant of 25 PSI.
The Drip store carry two types of pressure regulators, preset pressure (in-line) and adjustable. Preset pressure regulators have a preset pressure of 10, 20, 25 or 30 PSI. Adjustable pressure regulator is more expensive and provides adjustment at in a range of pressure. The most commonly used are the 28 to 60 PSI range. Both types should not be under constant pressure and be install after the control valve
