3/4" Compression (.940 OD) x 3/4" FPT PVC

When designing or installing an irrigation system, you will often run into situations where you need two different fitting types, but nobody makes them together in one piece. We know, because we've been doing this for over 25 years! This fitting uses a schedule 40 PVC adapter as a base to create a fitting with 3/4" FPT on one end and 3/4" compression on the other. Remember to use teflon tape on whatever MPT piece you screw into the FPT end of this fitting. For the compression end, push the tubing into the end of the fitting firmly and at an angle, then walk it up and down while pushing in until the tubing is inside the fitting by at least half an inch. Be aware that once you've gotten the tubing into the fitting it's very difficult to remove it!
