Hi Everyone!
Just want to give you a little update on how things are going with regards to our employees.
First off, all employees are healthy and working toward staying that way. We're all itching to do something other than work and stay home, but we're committed to doing things right.
Even though they don't read the blog, I'll take the time here to give a HUGE shout-out to the warehouse crew. They've been working 10 hours a day six days a week since this all began to make sure orders keep going out on time, and while they say the overtime is worth it we all know they've been working their butts off for the past eight weeks. Not only are they working under more difficult conditions, but we have opted (with their input) to not hire any seasonal workers this year in order to reduce exposure of the full time crew. A BIG thank you to the TDS warehouse crew for really stepping up this season!
The warehouse crew, like the rest of the staff, has been committed to self-isolation for the duration of the pandemic to ensure that orders are packed and shipped as safely as possible.
Office personnel are either working from home or working in separate areas of the office with separate A/C systems. The staff in the office is minimal and the phones are crazy busy this time of year so we have to hand it to them for keeping up on the calls and email.
