Coronavirus and Your Drip Store Order

We would like everyone to know we are just as concerned about the safety of items coming into our homes or places of work as you are.

We have implemented procedures of our own along with following all guidelines from the federal, state and local authorities to minimize risk to items shipped out of our facility. These procedures are also to protect our employees while at work. We are working minimal staff and segregating them as much as possible to minimize person to person contact.

If you are unsure if your package is safe after it arrives, you should let it sit dry and untouched for 3 to 5 days. This should let any virus on the packaging or product die off, although nothing has been proven yet. The other alternative is to spray or soak everything with a bleach / water mixture as prescribed on the CDC website. The vast majority of our products are water friendly so no harm can be done by spraying or submerging them. Just remember to rinse them off afterward with clean water. The only items you should NOT hose off are the controllers, which you can wipe down with a disinfectant wipe. Contact us with questions.

Quotes from the CDC website

"Current evidence suggests that novel coronavirus may remain viable for hours to days on surfaces made from a variety of materials." (They do not list any materials)
"transmission of novel coronavirus to persons from surfaces contaminated with the virus has not been documented."

"It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads. In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from food products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient, refrigerated, or frozen temperatures."

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) has a website which addresses all questions concerning this virus and how to protect yourself.
