.6 GPH 12-Outlet PC Drip Manifold with 1/2" FPT Connection

Retrofitting a sprinkler riser into a drip system is a great way to reduce your water usage with minimal effort. A 12-outlet manifold like this one is ideal for watering a number of plants situated around a 1/2" sprinkler riser. With 12 individual, pressure compensating ports each with a flow rate of .6 gph, this manifold can direct water where it is needed most without having to hassle with 1/2" poly tubing. Each port can accept 1/8" poly tubing without modification, or 1/4" poly tubing if using a converter barb or elbow. Individual ports can be blocked off by removing the pre-inserted dripper and plugging them with a D075 cap. You can even upgrade the ports to different flow rates by replacing the pre-inserted ones with a new one. Since the drippers are located inside the manifold head, you shouldn't put one at the end of the lines coming from each port.

TIP: to remove a dripper form one of the ports, use a very small flathead screwdriver to pry it out, or (preferably) push it out by pushing a paperclip through the bottom of the port.

Since 1/8" and 1/4" tubing both have relatively short max run lengths (6' and 30' respectively) and relatively low max flow rate capacities (6 gph and 30 gph respectively), larger areas are better serviced by a system running off of 1/2" .700 OD poly. If that's what you're looking for, use the A008 conversion elbow and then attach your favorite head assembly kit to it.
