The Woodpecker Junior PC drip emitters contain a diaphragm that continuously adjusts to varying water pressure to ensure a constant flow rate. The silicon diaphragm inside allows particles to pass through without harming it, providing reliable performance and a longer life.
Designed for hanging pots in greenhouse and nurseries applications, this line of PC drip emitters, our accessories and our pre-cut micro tubing of various lengths are ideal used for hanging potted plants that can minimize investment in time and resources, while maximizing crop yield.
Using drip irrigation for potted plants production has many benefits including:
Overall, using drip irrigation in greenhouses can help lower production costs and increase efficiency and uniformity, aiding in a successful growing season.
Looking to reduce or eliminate your hand watering, labor and operation costs, install a drip system that includes the following components:
A. Select one of our PC drip emitters with anti-drip mechanism: model BG-050, for .5 GPH, BG-010 for 1 GPH or BG-020 for 2 GPH. You also can select one of our PC drip emitters with barb outlets, model D081 for .5 GPH, D081 for 2 GPG or D083 for 2 GPH.
B. Select one of our press-fit adapters used with the BG series PC drip emitters: model GB-010U for single outlet, GB-020U for double outlets or GB-040U for four outlets.
C. Select a pre-cut or 1000 feet 1/8 inch micro tubing used with our BG and D080, D081, D082 series PC drip emitters: Model GD-024, for 2 feet, Gd-036 for 3 feet, GD-048 for 4 feet or GD-1000 for 1000 feet. The micro tubing is used to extend from the multi outlet emitters to the potted plants.
D. Last, select a supporting stakes used with your layouts: model A127, stabilizer stake with barb used with single outlet , or model GD-000, labyrinth flow stabilizer stake used with multi outlets.
This type of system can payback in the first season from labor cost savings.
About uniformity and lower maintenance: With higher uniformity over a wide range of pressures, the pressure compensating drip emitters offer many advantages in site preservation and maintenance, such as even uniformity over a longer lateral run with smaller size valves and laterals due to a smaller sized delivery system, and resistance to clogging due to the water passage design.
