Adding a fertilizer injector to your drip system is the final step in your journey towards a fully automated irrigation system. Rather than going out into your yard with a bag of fertilizer or a special hose attachment to manually fertilize, use a DIG Add-It injector and let your drip system do the work for you!

Using the Add-It injector is easy: just fill it up with a liquid fertilizer of your choice and turn your system on. That's it! As water moves through the injector it pulls up a constant stream of fertilizer and mixes it with the water going to your plants, ensuring an even, consistent feed rate. The massive six gallon injector takes - you guessed it! - six gallons of liquid fertilizer and distributes it evenly through the first 1000 gallons of water to pass through your system, after which the injector is just full of normal water.

This injector holds six gallons of fertilizer, so it's heavy! Too heavy to connect to a normal head assembly without support. This injector should be sitting firmly on the ground in a stable place. Do not let any of its weight be supported by the other head assembly components of the feeder tubes. Installing it without proper support will lead to leaking and breakage of the other head assembly parts and they will not be eligible for return.

This model has pipe threads, which means it will not work with standard hose thread fittings that you'd normally attach to your garden hose or spigot without an adapter. You can still connect this to a hose thread head assembly, you'll just want to use an A011 on either side of the injector. Remember to install the injector between the filter and the backflow preventer!
