This plastic back-flow preventer (anti-siphon device) from Dawn Industries has 3/4" hose thread ends, making it easy to use. This item should be installed at the beginning of a drip irrigation system and is used to prevent water from back siphoning into the water supply line. The back-flow device should always be used when applying fertilizer.
Do not put this item upstream of a valve, timer, or spigot. This item is not designed to operate under constant pressure, and installing it upstream of a valve, timer, or spigot will cause it to leak and fail. Only install it after the valve, timer, or spigot.
