1/2" (.700 OD) Spin-Loc Line End with Flush Valve

You probably already know that you need to plug up the ends of your 1/2" mainline tubing in order for the system to pressurize, right? Well, if you didn't know before you definitely know now. There are a lot of different ways to accomplish this, but the LF054 offers the most bang for your buck. It features an auto-flush valve, meaning it lets your line drain after every run to keep your system as clean as possible. When the system turns on and pressure reaching .6 PSI, the valve at the end closes. When the system turns off and the pressure drops back below 1 PSI, the valve opens again, allowing water to drain out. Just like the LF013, it has a 3/4" MHT threaded end underneath the valve, making it easy to attach to other hose thread fittings if you need to expand your system.

This fitting (and all the other 1/2" spin-lock fittings that we sell) works with 1/2" .600 ID x .700 OD poly drip tubing, but it unfortunately will not work with 17mm dripline. For that, you'll want a compression fitting like the LF001.

To use this fitting, screw the nut all the way down against the base of the fitting, push the tubing onto the barb, then screw the nut back down over the tubing. Do not unscrew the nut and push the tubing through it, that's not the way the fitting is designed to work!
